You know, for all the praise the iPhone has received in its time, we never thought it looked quite Matrix-y enough. Thankfully, that all-important deficiency has been remedied by a man named Ryan Glasgow up in Portland, who has just started selling the above case to all who care to have one. It’s built out of stainless steel on the outside and silicone padding on the inside, with strategically located cutouts for wireless signals and heat emissions to get through. You can flip the front plate open, turning it into a rather outsized clamshell, or you can just talk with the lid closed, it’s all up to you. Aluminum and engraving options (can we suggest “my other phone is a Vertu“?) are also available with each case costing a slightly spendy $95. See more of it in the gallery below.

We’re guessing that most Level 10 owners spend more time dusting off their chassis than actually using it for “computing purposes,” but those that have been pinching their pennies in order to snag one now have yet another reason to do so. Asetek, which knows a thing or two about system cooling, has teamed up with iBuyPower in order to deliver the first and only liquid cooling option for what’s quite possibly the planet’s most astounding PC enclosure. The pain? Not a dime, as the option is now standard equipment on systems that include the case. Huzzah!

It’s a well known fact (’round these parts, anyway) that Lian Li is one of the more creative PC chassis manufacturers on the planet, but who knew the company responsible for crafting a case in the likeness of Dubai’s own Burj Al Arab had a top-notch marketing staff, too? In the video past the break, the company’s innovative new open-air Mini-ITX benchmarking case is revealed to the world, and while the device itself is a fantastic creation, it’s the pitch that really sells it. Essentially, the highly flexible T1 Pitstop “Spider” is made for hosting smaller systems for limited amounts of time, making it easier to test and benchmark a litany of systems without having to crack open a traditional case with each setup. We’re still trying to determine whether or not Lian Li truly expects to build and sell this thing, but whatever the case, the clip awaiting you below is totally worth a watch.

Look, we’ve got no qualms with the litany of existing laptop sleeves on the market today. Many are fine, fine pieces of kit. But if you’re in the market for something to cover up your shiny new 13-, 15- or 17-inch machine, you owe it to yourself (and your fellow Earthlings) to check out what Hello Rewind is offering. Put simply, this company accepts your order for a new sleeve, sends you a pre-paid envelope, awaits the arrival of your unused tee of choice, and then mails you a soft, personalized wrapping for your precious workhorse. During the process, the outfit uses the proceeds to fight sex trafficking and assist women that were formerly sex trafficked in New York City, which is just about as noble a mission as we can think of. Be sure to give the source link a visit if you’re interested, where each sleeve can be procured for $49 with free shipping on both ends.
[Thanks, Greg]

The trusty old desktop rarely gets the love it deserves these days. Losing gamers to consoles and casual users to laptops, it’s left only with a loyal band of enthusiasts, but what a gorgeous bunch they are. Gary from the Bit-tech forums has put together the above case mod, inspired by the styles of early 20th century electronics, and reminded us all that big can be beautiful. He’s managed to fit an entire water cooling setup inside, while leaving no detail undocumented in a thorough, pic-heavy walkthrough of the project. We’d have considered the stunning wooden case enough by itself, but Gary has taken care of the little touches as well, as exemplified by the spare PCI slot covers matching the external construction. Hit the source link for images of the build and the insides laid bare.

The newer Antech Nine Hundred Two builds on this design with improved airflow and dominating style.

The SilverStone SG05 Mini-ITX/DTX is a computer case designed for minimal space and maximum flexibility. Unlike other small form factor cases, the SG05 attempts to provide users with options by supporting large video cards, larger heat sink fans, and an 80-plus 300 watt PSU. In this review, we'll take a look at all the SG05 has to offer.
