Samsung N110

Samsung has a family of netbooks with names surprisingly similar probe. The N110 and N120 Most importantly, we have recently been revised following the NC10, despite the general appearance, we would like for the battery life. The N110 was able to obtain a six cell battery to a fairly narrow, and NC10 make very small touchpad. But nearly 350, are more expensive than the competition, but by the same person from Intel, 160GB hard drive and 1GB RAM data.

2 things we like about the Samsung N110

• The keyboard is quite good
• Battery life is excellent

2 things we don’t like about the Samsung N110

• Quite expensive
• Design is uninspired

Samsung N110 Review

The Samsung N110 is a relatively anonymous-looking statements netbook with a matte black interior (with very thin brown stripes and a shiny black lid. Unfortunately, the glossy surface of the sheet was the most friendly and garbled impression that we have met, and keep it clean, even one day was a battle. Although not as thin and something like the HP Mini 1000, Samsung will provide information on a netbook with a six cell battery is like a hand stand.

The keyboard is the tapered design affects more traditional, with individual keys are larger at the base and narrow at the top. We have many PC manufacturers, including Dell, HP and Asus, as you go around a distinct design. However, the buttons were big and we are delighted to be a big shift right button – This is one that has killed several times in the keyboard layouts in compact view. The track pad on the N110 is slightly higher than the original and is about as good as we have seen a netbook – also includes navigating a specially designated area.

The 10.1-inch LCD screen has a native resolution of 1024 x600 pixels, which is standard on netbooks. In general, for most people browsing the Web, but long, steep walls and Word documents you may need to read a lot of scrolling. But we are disappointed to see the arrival of the matte screen NC10 original replaced by a brilliant. Most consumer notebooks have bright screens, but usually find that the colors of the glossy shine surface that reflects the benefits that are much brighter and better overall brightness are paramount. If the reader lacks ExpressCard found in many other netbooks in the class price, we were pleased to see three-port USB – many netbooks have only two.

At 1,6 GHz Intel Atom CPU and 1GB RAM, there are not many surprises in the performance of the N110 is. We found that the newly organized systems with AMD and VIA Nano CPU – two in a similar number netbook – a bit better for the single-app-test, and leads the individual faster multitasking tests us.

For simple tasks such as word processing, browsing the Web, and e-mail, a nuclear-powered netbook more than adequate and will keep your expectations modest. Requests browser windows open Entry many people simultaneously, or multiple running simultaneously, for example, may lead to the fact that the slow and stuttering.

The N110 works for 6 hours and 8 minutes a leak test of our video playback battery using the included six battery cells. This is great, especially considering that the leak test of the battery is our great challenge. Only the Acer Aspire One D150 is better in the Netbooks, and even then, only about 10 minutes.

Unions, as one would expect the same in both composition and arrangement. The left side is an Ethernet port and two USB, while the right side, you’ll find headphone and microphone, and find another port USB, VGA output and a memory. There is also the power button, which is still mounted on the side of the hinge section. In front there is a memory card reader, while the camera above the screen.

Neither, however, is the keyboard, which has not changed since NC10 – as before him fully formed, more or less, while large buttons and easy to type. Key action is not very deep, but is stable and positive, and overall, N110 found even keyboards in a netbook.

In fact, as the N110, the NC10 is one of the best netbooks you can find. It has all the right ingredients: a good keyboard, good battery life and an attractive design. Construction quality is also very good with good quality used in plastics, but we do not recognize the problems with heat or noise. If you have a criticism, it would be nice to see that the upgrade to Wi-Fi Draft-N, which will have significant improvement compared with the NC10 available, but this is not a serious problem.

Adhesive points, however, may be the price, as we mentioned EIA was 349th this is obviously a bit expensive side, but only the N110, it may hit retail, and is easy to forget the weakness of the pound continues to confound our values – not just cheap used. This relatively small improvement to be made to the NC10 and the N110 is not present owner snake around the block.

Final Words and Conclusion

Samsung has created an almost perfect netbook in N110. By improving the ergonomics of the touchpad, and north of 7 hours of battery life, improves an already stellar system, even sat down and compete. Although people may have good netbooks configured with six batteries for much less money, the Acer Aspire One costs $ 120 less AOD150, and the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 70 million less, the N110 allows a better keyboard and better resistance to these two models and is lighter than the ASUS.
